In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout
the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.
| Board of Directors | The Board of Directors is made up of the club officers, the immediate past president and six elected board members. The board determines club policies, approves club projects, approves and controls the club budget and manages the club.
The board meets on the first Monday of the month at 12:00 at the Heritage House. The meeting is open to all members and members are encouraged to attend. However only board members are allowed to vote. | Charlie Zercher |
| Club Meeting | This committee is responsible for supporting meeting preparations. The vice president as a member of the committee is responsible for arranging and scheduling guest speakers for club meetings and other programs of interest to the club.
The committee also takes responsibility for greeting members and visitors, preparing the meeting room ahead of the meeting and handling activities of the meeting. | Charlie Zercher |
| Community Service-Spiritual Values | This committee is responsible for performing service to the community. Some of the projects include providing prizes for the local nursing home bingo games, road clean-up for an assigned local road and a variety of other projects.
The committee also supports human and spiritual growth and wellness within our club and our local WaNee community. | Sandra Toney |
| Fund Raising | Organizing and managing the fund raising for the club is this committee's responsibility. The club organizes the week-long Rib-Eye Steak sale at the Elkhart County Fair in July, the Rib-Eye Steak sale at the September Apple Festival and citrus fruit sales in November. | Mike Sheetz, Phil Evans |
| Membership | Recruitment of and orientation of new members is the responsibility of this committee. The committee organizes activities to which potential members are invited. They also prepare and conduct induction ceremonies for new members. | Alan Wigent |

| Young Children Priority One | This committee coodinates and programs for children from prenatal stage through the age of five. Programs for childre age 6 and above are also supported. In the past the committe has donated special designed emergency bags for small children to the Nappanee EMS. | Youth Service Leadership Programs | Youth Leadershop Service programs include K-Kids (Elementary age) Builder's Club (Middle school age) Key Club (High School age) & Circle K (College Age)
Our club currently works with a K-Kids program with the Nappanee Boys & Girls Club. It is co-sponsored by a the Notre Dame Circle K club. The TERRIFIC KIDS and the B.U.G. (Bring Up Grades)are active in all three elementary schools The committee works developing programs and helping the youth better serve their community. | Bill Fales |
| Youth Services | Youth Services is a major committee. The committee is responsible for the many and varied youth program sponsorships.
